Korenhof is a family owned business with Dirk Hanekom, his wife Nelmi and daughter Nicola being the soul drivers of the heritage of this farm. Being the 5th generation to live our dream of farming is a privilege we will always cherish.

Between the blue mountains and the beautiful hills of the majestic Overberg we cultivate small grains as well as pastures and strive to breed one of the leading Merino Studs.

Local Family Farm
With dedication to a sustainable farming we have supplied the South African sheep industry with high quality genetics and breeding material for many years. We are devoted to high, quality production and reliable data.

Our clients are our biggest asset. With Korenhof being the first ever production auction in South Africa in 1982 we are proud to present our 40th Auction this year in respect of this great initiative by my father Koos Hanekom.

We as a family pride ourselves on our firm belief system and values with trust at its core. We strive to stand by these beliefs and live by it daily.
